Week 8 · Sleeper adds, last 24 hours
Waiver wire pickups
Who managers are grabbing right now, why it is happening, and whether the role sticks.
How to use this waiver list
Add counts tell you where the crowd is heading, and the crowd is usually reacting to one of three things: an injury that opens a starting job, a breakout game, or a good matchup for a streamer. The notes under each player tell you which one it is. Injury replacements with a starting role for several weeks are the priority; one-game spikes deserve a smaller bid.
Once you have your target, check whether he would start for you this week with start/sit, or see what your bench is worth in the trade analyzer before you cut anyone.
Questions
Where do the waiver wire adds come from? +
From Sleeper's public trending data: the number of Sleeper leagues that added or dropped each player in the last 24 hours. We refresh it every hour, so the list reacts to injuries and Sunday breakouts quickly.
Should I pick up the most-added player? +
Not always. Adds measure what other managers are doing, not what your roster needs. Look at the context line: a backup stepping in for an injured starter is worth a big bid, a one-week streamer is not.
How much FAAB should I spend? +
Save big bids for players with a clear path to a starting role for the rest of the season. One-week fill-ins and bye-week streamers rarely deserve more than a few percent of your budget.
What does the value column mean? +
It is the player's rest-of-season trade value from our model in a 12-team PPR league, on a 0 to 100 scale. Most waiver adds sit in the single digits; anything above 15 is a real asset.
Which players should I drop? +
The most-dropped list shows who managers are giving up on. Drop players with no clear role first, then kickers and defenses you are streaming, before you cut anyone with an injury-driven path to touches.
